Comprehensive PTGA Assessment (ASM-13)

Service Description

We are happy to see that you are about to book our 2 1/2-day Assessment. Here you'll have the opportunity to turn your new found skill and knowledge into relevant industry qualifications. This 2 1/2-day assessment includes assessment in the following two and 1/2 Polar Tourism Guides Association (PTGA) Polar Qualifications: PQ- Navigation Skills for Polar Operations - ELEMENT 2 PQ - Working with Small Boats/ Zodiacs - ALL ELEMENTS PQ - Driving Small Boats/ Zodiacs - ALL ELEMENTS It also includes a detailed post assessment report, which you will receive a while after the assessments. We use a combination of in-person assessors and an assessor that connects remotely. This enables us to streamline and optimise your assessment process. Our in-person assessors will be in the field with you while our remote assessor connects via our EGA venue for more theoretical components during the 2 1/2-day assessment. We will finish the final assessment days with a "hyggelig" communal dinner together, hosted by the EGA. The assessment day starts in the afternoon of the first day (after finishing your Comprehensive Guide Course that same day). You will depart the day after the last assessment day PLEASE NOTE: That this assessment are only available for booking for our Comprehensive Guide Course Participants.
