Service Description

The EGA venue is situated in Vindekilde and is within walking distance from the ocean. It is the base for our teaching and also the home for most participants during the Comprehensive Guide Course. It has a large, fully equipped, communal kitchen and living room (also the theory room) and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms are small and you might share a room with someone else. It's a lot like the expedition ships, where you stay in a small shared cabin. You won't have much time in your room due to the busy nature of the course. And just like ships, you'll sleep in small beds (small bunk beds). We have a laundry machine for you to use, however, we do expect you to be responsible for the use, meaning asking you to limit your washing and ideally wash after 21:00 (9 PM). Finally, there is a garden, an outdoor, covered sitting area on ground level, and a beautiful veranda on the first floor. Please note that this is not a 4 or 5-star accommodation option! It is a private home, so expect private things and home-ly touches. We like it simple and cosy (hyggeligt), if you do too, this is a good option for you. Since the venue is within driving distance of any supermarket, the EGA offers shopping by arrival and one more time during the Comprehensive Guide Course. We are looking forward to seeing you!
